Please note that Islamic weekend school for girls starts on Saturdays at 10 AM. For boys it is on Sunday at 9AM. The earlier time is due to the fact there is only one teacher, the Imam for all the boys. The community needs volunteer instructors for the school. If you are interested in volunteering for either the boys or girls, please contact the Imam. You must be able to read and write in the Arabic language.
The khutbah on November 10 will start at 12:20PM due to the time change last weekend.
Eid Al-Adha prayer will be at 8:30AM on Friday, September 1, 2017 in the Masjid. If you attend the Eid prayer, it is not required to pray Jummuah, however Salat Al-Jummuah will be at the regular time of 1:20PM. For Eid Celebration information, see flyer below. There will be no weekend Islamic School on the 2nd or 3rd.
If your son needs an official excuse note from the masjid to attend jummuah prayer, please see the Imam.
The Eid will be on Sunday the 25th inshAllah. The Eid prayers will be held in the masjid and the prayer will start at 8:30AM followed by the khutbah. After there will be a potluck style futur. Please bring your favorite breakfast dish or sweet to share.
Following this will be barbecue in the Royal Oaks Park. Please see the post below for details.
